To listen the the replay of the show click here.  It was a great show thank you Donna and Allen for having Mike, Rich and I on.

I have been asked to  join Hosts Donna and Allen Smith on their show The Truth About Trucking.  I will be joining drivers Michael Adams of TruckinFitness and Rich Chelton as we discuss health issues drivers face and ways to overcome them.  It will be tonight  Thursday June 5th at 6pm Eastern on blogtalk radio.  To join in and get more information on the show topics click here.  You can also call in to participate at (347) 826-9170.

While the show will be focusing on issues that plague the trucking industry.  These are challenges that EVERYONE faces, time, what is healthy, what to do and many more.  I firmly believe that if truck drivers can be successful at increasing their health ANYONE can.  We face constantly changed schedules, difficulty in finding healthy and reliable food sources, limited space and major time constraints.  Yet all three of us have found ways to start improving our health.

I hope to see all of you on the Radio.  If you can not make tonight’s show please contact me on how to get the replay once it is posted online.

I apologize for the short notice but the show was not confirmed till Tuesday and I had a long work day Wednesday so did not get this up right away.

I have been driving in the trucking industry for 9 years working for a major over the road refrigerated carrier. In "previous lives," I have worked as a police dispatcher while in college for Geology and Sociology, spent time in restaurant kitchens, and spent 9 years in retail electronics. Of all my jobs, I enjoy probably enjoy driving the most, with cooking not far behind. During my time as a driver my weight went up and my health went down. In the last few years I have made the decision to start taking back my health. RoadTestedLiving.com chronicles my story, as well as that of other drivers. It will share tips and tricks that, if they work for professional drivers with limited time, space, and equipment, they should be able to work for anyone. It also allows me to share my passion for the trucking industry, and good food with others. Simply put, Road Tested Living is all about Learning to Live Well from Life's Lessons on the Road.
